This event is considered as annual event of this school. Every year, SMK Tun Syed Nasir Ismail, formerly known as SMK Majidi Baru will organize this event. Only form 3 and form 5 students are required to attend this event due to limited space of Surau Ar-Rahman. They were chosen because, they will have to sit for the public exams, PMR and SPM. Activities in this event also strengthen relationship between teachers and students as cooking bubur lambuk was done together with gotong royong style.

These are my first batch of ICT students. These pictures will also be upload into myspace. I hope all my students do well in their coming SPM. YOU CAN DO IT! SCORE A FOR ICT. SCORE A FOR ALL SUBJECTS. Work hard, succes do not come with little effort.
Due date for all ICT Coursework is 30 June 2009. This year SPM candidates need to complete all their assessment before 30 June 2009. Otherwise you will not gain 30% marks. Please do it early, read the Table Of Construct (TOC), follow the requirements, ask your teacher, and there should be no problems. Still, in order to gain 30% marks from the assessment, you need to spend more time. I will upload the coursework tips and examples within this month for your reference. A letter of acknowledgement to your parents (Surat makluman ibu bapa) will be sent before school holiday. Some of you may need to come to school during 1st or 2nd week of school holiday to complete your assessments.

A workshop for ICT prefects will be held on Saturday, 25 April 2009, 8.00 am - 12.00 pm. You will learn how to

4. install anti-virus
5. install microsoft office
6. install c cleaner
7. install netsupport
Attendance is compulsory.
Computer Lab 2 will be available on Monday and Tuesday from 2.00 pm to 3.30 pm as the extra classes for 5UTM is cancelled. They can only enter computer lab during school hours. I will not hesitate to give them 0 mark for their incomplete assessment. Other students are warned not to disobey your teachers or misbehave and furthermore hurt your teacher's feeling. I am very disappointed with 5UTM students behaviour on tuesday, 14 April 2009, after toolbook lesson. I remembered that they have been warned last year, also they have made promises but they broke it as if there's nothing much with promises. I won't bother if they fail. I felt angry and sad at the same time because they always take things for granted. They do not appreciate the teacher's sacrifices. 4 ICT prefects from 5UTM are sacked from their post. No contribution marks for them.

Until today, there are no participant for the power point quiz. So, I change the format of the quiz. You can answer using the comment. write the question number, answer, your full name and class. the first participant got the right answer, will be given RM2.00 for each correct answer, so RM10.00 are appointed for power point quiz. The quiz is very easy as you can just open Power Point and find the answer. Each _ means 1 letter, so if _ _ _ _ _ _ means 6 letters. Open power point, explore a little bit and i'm sure you will find the answer and gain some extra pocket money. It is very easy..... and I trust you can do it.... cayo my fellow students

1. Computer housekeeping
- (scan virus, update virus, registry cleaning, hard drives cleaning, hard drives defragmentation)
- once per computer per week.
- estimated time taken for housekeeping is 30 minutes and above per computer.
2. Fill up documents KEW PA-2.
3. Identify computer error and then fill up maintenance form KEW PA-9 (computer error report).
4. Helps to control usage of computer in
- Computer Lab (Makmal Komputer) and Access Centre Room (Bilik Pusat Akses).
5. Helps other things related to ICT world.
ICT prefects benefits.
1. Will be appointed during assembly.
2. Will receive a vest and new name tag with larnyard.
3. Will gain marks for co-curriculum activities.
4. Will be trained as an assistant computer technician.
5. And many more benefits...
All ICT students (Form 4 and Form 5) are compulsory to attend this workshop. Students will gain more benefits to learn from an experience teacher, Puan Nur Haliza binti Saibun from SMK Sultanah Engku Tun Aminah. She had been teaching ICT since the beginning of the subject offered to the schools in Malaysia. Do not miss this opportunity. This is an important step of scoring A.
